Home Care Direct Support Professional (Employment Technician / Job Coach)

About the role

BAYADA is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide in‑home care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD). You will work independently in clients' homes or community settings, delivering personalized support and promoting mental and behavioral health.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily living assistance and behavioral health support to clients with ID/DD.
• Implement individualized care plans while respecting client autonomy.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and client progress.
• Communicate regularly with a 24/7 on‑call clinical manager for guidance.
• Travel to assigned client locations, ensuring punctual and reliable service.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year verifiable experience working with individuals who have intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Passion for mental/behavioral health care and ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to adapt to varied client schedules and needs.
