Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Base360.ai is building an AI operating system for short‑term rental businesses. We are looking for a senior software engineer to design, build and scale the core platform that powers reservations, pricing, payments, guest communication and property operations.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable applications, services and APIs that handle reservations, availability, pricing, payments and guest experiences.
• Build event‑driven automation workflows such as cleaning scheduling, check‑in instructions and owner statements.
• Develop AI‑powered systems using LLMs and AI agents to automate guest communication, maintenance triage and pricing decisions.
• Create API‑first integrations with booking channels and third‑party providers like Airbnb, Stripe, Twilio and OpenAI.
• Maintain and expand cloud‑native, serverless infrastructure on AWS for reliability and global growth.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery from problem definition through architecture, implementation, deployment and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and owning production‑grade software systems.
• Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems and cloud architecture.
• Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions and balance speed with maintainability.
• Product mindset with curiosity about AI, automation and operational efficiency.
