Associate – Corporate Services (Health & Safety)

About the role

The Associate, Corporate Services supports the Bank’s health and safety programmes, providing practical advice and risk‑reduction support across offices, travel and project sites. The role contributes to governance, training, incident management, risk assessment and business continuity, ensuring compliance with health and safety obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and continuous improvement of the Bank’s Health & Safety policy, procedures and guidance.
• Coordinate closure of audit non‑conformances, track action plans and escalate overdue items.
• Assess office, travel and project site risks, recommend proportionate mitigations and flag high‑risk issues.
• Manage incident reporting, conduct investigations of near‑misses and accidents, and propose preventive measures.
• Gather, monitor and report health & safety KPIs and trend data to drive continual improvement.
• Deliver or facilitate health & safety training and awareness activities aligned with the Bank’s programmes.
• Independently manage assigned health & safety projects, programmes and operational tasks.
• Support strategic health & safety reporting, crisis response and business continuity arrangements.

Required profile

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best‑practice procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with corporate services, regional management, office managers and central teams.
• Strong analytical skills for risk assessment, KPI analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for training delivery and stakeholder engagement.
• Willingness to travel as required by the role.
