Neighbourhood Channel Sales Manager – Benin

About the role

We are looking for a Neighbourhood Channel Sales Manager to drive our sales strategy in a defined neighbourhood in Benin. Reporting to the Zonal Manager, you will be responsible for achieving secondary sales targets, expanding outlet coverage and ensuring product availability while coaching the Van Sales Representative (VSR) team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage VSR performance and achieve secondary sales and weighted distribution targets.
• Expand coverage by onboarding new neighbourhood outlets and ensuring product availability.
• Coach and accompany VSRs, providing on‑the‑job training and performance feedback.
• Plan and execute promotions, monitor SFA parameters and ensure accurate data capture.
• Increase brand visibility through picture‑of‑success initiatives and in‑store execution.
• Gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activity and report insights to the commercial team.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in marketing or sales with a proven record of meeting KPIs.
• Experience with PZ Cussons sales methodology or similar FMCG selling practices.
• Valid driver’s licence and good knowledge of field sales management.
• First‑degree qualification in any discipline and basic computer literacy.
