NTD Project Officer – Reaching the Last Mile Fund

About the role

Sightsavers is seeking an experienced Project Officer with strong partner‑management and Digital Health expertise to support Neglected Tropical Disease (NTD) projects in Benin, in collaboration with the Reaching the Last Mile Fund and other donors.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and coordinate NTD project activities, ensuring timelines are met.
• Provide Digital Health technical advice and support the digitalisation of project processes.
• Manage financial aspects and reporting for donor-funded activities.
• Advocate for NTD elimination goals with government, INGOs and multilateral partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3‑4 years of experience in project planning, monitoring and coordination, preferably in health or NTD programmes.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with partners, government officials and multilateral organisations.
• Experience in capacity building and supporting staff seconded to government.

Required skills

• Digital Health implementation and capacity‑building.
• GIS and spatial analysis.
• Strong written and oral communication, including data visualisation.
• Analytical, quantitative and problem‑solving abilities.
