About the role

The Integrated Mechanistic & Data-driven Modeling Group offers a PhD fellowship focused on developing computational models for precision drug dosing during pregnancy. The project combines mechanistic biology, pharmacometrics, and modern data‑science approaches to improve treatment outcomes for pregnant women.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute an independent research project on model‑informed precision dosing.
• Complete PhD coursework equivalent to ~30 ECTS points.
• Participate in active research environments, including a stay with another research team.
• Engage in teaching and dissemination activities related to the project.
• Write and defend a PhD thesis based on the research findings.

Required profile

• Master’s or equivalent degree in Bioinformatics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Computational Biology, Systems Biology, Pharmacometrics, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science applied to Life Sciences, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
• Strong interest in systems pharmacology, precision medicine, and AI‑supported scientific workflows.
