Program Manager (French speaking)

About the role

OpenFn seeks a remote, French‑speaking Program Manager to own and grow relationships with existing subscription customers across Sub‑Saharan Africa. You will act as the trusted advisor, ensuring customers derive real value from the platform while helping to build the program‑management function from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for a portfolio of subscription customers, driving retention, satisfaction and growth.
• Develop and execute account plans, lead Quarterly Business Reviews and regular check‑ins.
• Maintain technical fluency on the OpenFn platform to hold credible conversations with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Identify adoption risks early, coordinate with solution architects and implementation consultants, and manage escalations.
• Own renewal forecasting, negotiate renewals and expansions, and track gross and net retention metrics.
• Establish playbooks, cadences and health‑scoring models for scalable program management.

Required profile

• 3‑7+ years in account management, customer success or a similar commercial role within a SaaS or subscription business.
• Proven track record of retaining and expanding a customer portfolio, including renewals and upsells.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with both technical users and senior decision‑makers.
• Fluent professional‑level English and French (written and verbal).
• Self‑starter mindset able to build processes while executing day‑to‑day responsibilities.

Required skills

• Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, data exchange and workflow automation.
• Experience using a CRM (e.g., Salesforce, Odoo) and data‑informed account health management.
