Remote Drupal Web Developer

About the role

We are looking for a talented and detail‑oriented Drupal Web Developer to join our remote team. You will design, build and maintain complex web applications on the Drupal CMS, working closely with project managers, designers and fellow developers to turn wireframes into responsive, secure, high‑performance sites.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop and maintain Drupal‑based websites and applications.
• Create custom modules and themes using clean, secure PHP and JavaScript.
• Integrate third‑party services and APIs into Drupal platforms.
• Perform core updates, apply security patches and ensure module compatibility.
• Test, debug and optimise sites for speed, scalability and 99 % uptime.
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge and support teammates.
• Document technical specifications and system architecture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, IT or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on Drupal development (Drupal 9/10 preferred).
• Self‑motivated with strong time‑management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required skills

• Drupal 9/10, custom module and theme development.
• PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
• Version control with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Command‑line proficiency and Docker for local development.
• Headless/decoupled Drupal and automated testing.
