About the role

Lapaire is seeking an Agency Manager to lead its optical shop in Menontin, Benin. The role combines retail management, customer service excellence, and business development within a fast‑growing pan‑African optical network.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the optical agency, ensuring high‑quality eye tests and trendy corrective eyewear are delivered.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of sales representatives and opticians, fostering a customer‑centric culture.
• Plan and achieve sales targets, forecast revenue, and implement local commercial strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Increase brand visibility in the agency’s territory through promotions, seasonal events and eye‑health awareness campaigns.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of Lapaire products, services and emerging client needs, and relay insights to senior management.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of the local market and optical customer expectations.
• Strong knowledge of optical products and the ability to communicate their benefits.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing retail or service teams.
• Ability to identify client needs, propose solutions and drive sales growth.
