Sales Representative – Equipment Solutions

About the role

The Sales Representative will lead the development of BIA’s equipment portfolio in Benin, aligning daily activities with the Group’s commercial strategy. The role combines customer acquisition, relationship management and coordination with internal teams to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and monitor team objectives, conduct performance reviews and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Prospect new markets, expand the customer portfolio and keep the C4C database up‑to‑date.
• Gather competitive intelligence, analyse customer needs and act as the BIA ambassador during site visits.
• Implement BU strategies, maintain strong relationships with key accounts and support the International Key Account team.
• Negotiate and close equipment and accessory sales, supervise order processing and ensure compliance with financing and legal risk policies.
• Maintain deep product knowledge of manufacturers’ machines and disseminate information to colleagues.
• Prepare sales forecasts, manage the order book and report activity through C4C.
• Represent General Management in corporate or business meetings when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in equipment sales or related industrial sectors.
• Ability to manage and motivate a sales team (if applicable).
• Strong customer‑focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Analytical approach to market intelligence and sales forecasting.
• Willingness to travel regularly to high‑potential customers in Benin.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the C4C (SAP Cloud for Customer) CRM system.
