Senior Coverage Manager – Arise Industrial Parks

About the role

The Senior Coverage Manager will lead business development and operational activities for Afreximbank within the Arise Industrial Parks in Benin. The role focuses on originating export transactions, expanding market access, and delivering financing and support solutions to park tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual business development plans for all Arise Industrial Parks.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of Afreximbank’s representative offices or implants in the parks.
• Originate, structure and execute export‑related transactions across the park network.
• Design and market products and programmes that increase exports, especially to China and India.
• Prepare comprehensive financing plans that align with Afreximbank’s export development objectives.
• Serve as the primary interface between park operations and internal credit, legal and banking functions.
• Coordinate with SME Development, Trade Information and Advisory Services to provide financial and non‑financial support.
• Build and maintain relationships with tenants, buyers, off‑takers, banks, financial institutions and project sponsors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, export financing or trade facilitation, preferably within industrial park environments.
• Strong understanding of export markets, especially trade corridors to China and India.
• Ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams and manage complex transaction execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
• Knowledge of AML, regulatory and compliance requirements in banking.
