Senior Data Scientist

About the role

Sand Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join its Healthcare domain team. You will apply advanced data analysis and machine‑learning techniques to solve complex health‑care challenges, driving data‑driven decisions that improve patient outcomes and clinical workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent and collaborative research and development of cutting‑edge machine‑learning models using health records, clinical trial data, and other healthcare sources.
• Maintain and expand expertise in decision science, predictive modeling, MLOps, and AI ethics, while upskilling teammates.
• Partner with clinical experts, product managers, and software engineers to integrate models into production‑ready products and services.
• Present technical results and clinical impact to medical professionals, administrative leaders, and technical audiences.
• Stay current with industry developments and emerging best practices in healthcare AI.

Required profile

• Strong background in statistics, machine learning, and data analysis.
• Deep domain knowledge of healthcare data and workflows.
• Proven track record delivering impactful insights and deploying compliant data‑science solutions to production.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
