Social Media Manager

About the role

The Social Media Manager will work on‑site in Cotonou, leading the planning, creation and publishing of content across all social platforms. The aim is to boost brand awareness, drive engagement and align social output with overall marketing objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media campaigns, managing posting schedules and content calendars.
• Monitor comments, messages and community interactions, responding promptly and professionally.
• Optimize profiles and individual posts for maximum reach and engagement.
• Analyse performance metrics, track KPIs and adjust strategies based on data insights.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure social content reflects brand guidelines and marketing goals.

Required profile

• Proven ability to plan and implement effective Social Media Marketing and SMO strategies.
• Strong communication and writing skills for clear, engaging brand‑aligned messaging.
• Experience designing content strategies tailored to different platforms and audiences.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools and key performance indicators.
• Organisational skills to manage multiple campaigns and tight deadlines.
• Prior experience in social media management or digital marketing; relevant education in marketing or communications is a plus.
