Software Engineer Annotator (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer Annotator to help improve AI‑generated code datasets used for training Large Language Models. In this remote position you will evaluate, label, and refine code samples, ensuring they meet high standards of correctness, efficiency, readability, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Annotate and review software‑engineering datasets that feed AI training pipelines.
• Assess AI‑generated code for functional correctness, performance, readability, and security best practices.
• Label data covering code completion, debugging, refactoring, and optimization scenarios.
• Provide structured feedback to data scientists and model trainers to boost model performance.
• Maintain strict adherence to annotation guidelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with AI trainers, reviewers, and data‑engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software‑engineering experience.
• Prior exposure to data annotation, AI model training, or code‑review processes.
• Strong understanding of software‑engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and coding best practices.
