Technical Project Coordinator – Expansion Initiative

About the role

Jaza is seeking a Technical Project Coordinator to lead the technical side of its 2026 expansion into up to ten new African markets. You will ensure that validation, pilot, and scale‑up phases meet safety, performance, and quality standards while adapting solutions to local contexts.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute technical strategy across validation, pilot, and scale‑up phases.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Tech Operations, and vendors to secure equipment and resources.
• Develop and maintain project plans covering procurement, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Lead regional service engineers, oversee tool and safety‑gear deployment, and monitor system uptime.
• Establish SOPs, track technical KPIs, and conduct audits before go‑live.
• Identify and resolve technical blockers such as supply‑chain gaps or infrastructure constraints.
• Prepare technical briefings, score pilot selections, and serve as escalation point for critical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electronics or a related field.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical or renewable‑energy systems.
• Proven ability to manage technical operations and ensure high system uptime in field environments.
