Accountant – Financial Reporting & Analysis

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, inventory and fixed asset accounting, cash flow management and business support activities. The role ensures compliance with regulations and provides accurate financial information to support decision‑making across Agri Palm Limited.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Coordinate annual budgets and periodic forecasts to support business planning.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights for management decisions.
• Perform regular account reconciliations and resolve variances.
• Maintain fixed asset registers, capitalization, depreciation and tracking.
• Monitor and manage cash flow activities.
• Process payroll and ensure timely salary payments.
• Oversee vendor payments, accounts payable and receivable functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• Professional certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit or financial analysis.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365.
