Behavioral Health Coach – Telehealth (Benin)

About the role

Join Intellect’s telehealth platform as a Behavioral Health Coach, delivering 30‑minute video sessions to support clients’ mental health and personal growth. This freelance remote position offers flexible business hours and the chance to supplement existing practice.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1‑on‑1 telehealth mental health coaching focusing on sub‑clinical issues such as work stress, procrastination, and work‑life balance.
• Assist clients in setting personal, career, and relationship goals.
• Collaborate with Intellect’s internal clinical team to suggest improvements to the program and platform.

Required profile

• Active International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification or a Master/Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling.
• ICF coaches: minimum 200 coaching hours; counsellors: minimum 300 clinical hours post‑graduation.
• Proficiency in English and the local language.
• Prior experience in Employee Assistance Programs, adult counselling, or managerial coaching is preferred.

Required skills

• Coaching techniques and evidence‑based approaches (e.g., Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, SFBT).
• Strong communication skills in English and the local language.
