Egocentric Video Data Collector

About the role

We are seeking self‑motivated individuals to record first‑person (egocentric) video footage of everyday activities. The captured videos will be used to train next‑generation AI models and humanoid robots. Work is performed remotely using a head‑mounted smartphone or smart glasses.

Key responsibilities

• Record raw POV video of routine tasks (cleaning, organizing, etc.) in a realistic residential or workspace environment.
• Wear provided head straps or smart glasses to keep hands and objects in view while maintaining stable lighting and framing.
• Follow strict technical specifications such as landscape orientation, resolution (1080p at 30/60 FPS), and camera angles.
• Upload unedited video files and complete short metadata forms on the project portal within agreed timelines.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team and re‑record clips if they do not meet framing or duration requirements.

Required profile

• Access to a modern smartphone with a high‑quality camera (1080p, 30/60 FPS).
• Suitable residential or workspace environment where recordings can be made.
• Strong attention to detail – keep hands visible, avoid mirrors, maintain steady framing.
• Privacy‑conscious – ensure no faces, personal IDs, or sensitive data are captured.
• Self‑starter able to commit 4–20 hours of usable footage over the project timeline.
