Finance and Support Services Manager, Gulf of Guinea

About the role

MAG is seeking a Finance and Support Services Manager to lead essential support functions that enable safe and effective work with conflict‑affected communities. Based in Benin and travelling regularly across the Gulf of Guinea, you will oversee Finance, HR, Procurement, IT and Administration for operations in Benin, Côte d’Ivoire and Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Member of the Senior Management Team, supporting the Regional Programme Manager and deputising as required.
• Contribute to strategic decision‑making, annual business planning and risk management.
• Guide and coach national support service teams, ensuring robust policies, internal controls and compliance with donor and local regulations.
• Shape budgets, monitor project performance, analyse financial trends and enforce strong cost management.
• Oversee financial accounting, audits, partner finance, cash‑flow and the use of MAG’s financial systems.
• Ensure procurement, logistics, asset management and IT systems are efficient, well‑governed and aligned with operational needs.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience leading finance, HR, procurement, IT and administration functions.
• Experience working in international or humanitarian settings with donor compliance requirements.
• Ability to coach teams and maintain robust internal controls and risk frameworks.

What we offer

• Starting salary package of £53,244 GBP (approx. $70,440 USD) including all allowances.
