French‑Speaking Photography & Visual Research Specialist (Freelance)

About the role

Gramian Consultancy is seeking French‑speaking visual researchers, photographers, and annotators to design image‑based evaluation tasks for advanced AI systems. The work is fully remote and involves sourcing authentic images, verifying rights, creating modified versions, and drafting English prompts and grading criteria.

Key responsibilities

• Source authentic photographs of real‑world places, products and media relevant to the target locale and verify licensing, copyright status and provenance.
• Conduct multi‑step visual research using Google Search, Google Lens and reverse image search to build a research path.
• Create cropped, masked, occluded or degraded image versions that hide key identifiers while preserving realistic clues.
• Write clear, time‑bounded English prompts, objective grading criteria and solution notes for each task.
• Maintain structured file‑naming, shared Google Drive folders and follow submission guidelines.

Required profile

• Native or highly fluent French with strong working proficiency in English.
• Deep local cultural knowledge, including non‑touristy landmarks, universities, municipal buildings and domestic media.
• Ability to verify copyright‑free, public‑domain, Creative Commons or otherwise licensed imagery.

Required skills

• Basic image editing (cropping, masking, obscuring visual details).
• Proficiency with Google Search, Google Lens and reverse image search tools.
• Familiarity with Google Drive and structured digital workflows.
