About the role

The Institute for Drug Design and Pharmacology (ILF) at the University of Copenhagen seeks a motivated laboratory intern to join the Pless laboratory from February 1, 2027. The position is a full‑time, 37‑hour weekly training role lasting until December 31, 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Assist a research group in daily laboratory activities.
• Perform a range of molecular‑biology techniques, including DNA and RNA purification, various PCR methods, cloning, transformation and cell culture.
• Prepare buffers and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Participate in practical teaching sessions on molecular biology and microbiology.

Required profile

• Completed the educational components required for the internship.
• Outgoing personality with strong collaboration skills.
• Good command of English.
