Remote CMS Developer – Build Custom WordPress, Drupal & Craft Solutions

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom Content Management System applications. Working remotely, you will translate design mockups into responsive, secure web experiences while collaborating with designers, content creators, and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage, and scale customized CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, or Magento.
• Build custom themes, modules, and plugins from scratch to extend functionality.
• Implement responsive designs, ensure cross‑browser compatibility, and conduct performance tuning.
• Set up custom post types and fields for a user‑friendly editing experience.
• Maintain site security, handle backups, updates, and manage authentication.
• Apply technical SEO best practices and integrate third‑party APIs, CRM systems, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
• Collaborate daily with UI/UX designers, back‑end developers, and content stakeholders.
• Document clean code and technical details for future reference.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of software development focused on CMS technologies.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and attention to design accuracy.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), JavaScript (ES6+)
• Server‑side languages: PHP, Python, Ruby
• Deep experience with WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, Magento
• Custom post types, custom fields, theme and plugin development
• API integration and database management
• Technical SEO, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics
