Sales Representative – Fresh Produce (Benin)

About the role

Aldelano Farms is expanding its market presence in Benin Republic and seeks a driven Sales Representative to develop the fresh‑produce business, focusing on habanero and bell peppers. The role involves prospecting new customers, building relationships with buyers, and driving sales across wholesalers, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants and markets.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new customers across the Benin market.
• Visit wholesalers, supermarkets, distributors, hotels, restaurants and markets to present Aldelano Farms products.
• Introduce the company and its fresh‑produce range to prospective buyers.
• Follow up on leads, negotiate terms and secure orders.
• Maintain relationships with recurring customers and expand existing accounts.
• Gather market intelligence on prices, competitors and customer demand.
• Provide regular sales and market reports to management.

Required profile

• Currently based in Benin Republic, preferably Cotonou or Abomey‑Calavi.
• Fluent in English and French (both mandatory).
• Proven experience in field sales, business development or customer acquisition.
• Confident in prospecting and approaching new customers.
• Familiar with the local Benin market and fresh‑produce sector.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently.
