SCADA DB Modelling Engineer

About the role

The SCADA DB Modelling Engineer provides expertise across the post‑sales lifecycle, ensuring customer success through training, professional services, technical support and advocacy. The role is accountable for high‑quality deliverables and works within a defined operational framework.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the implementation of SCADA, AEMS and ADMS solutions and own technical deliverables throughout project lifecycles.
• Engage with clients to understand needs, perform site assessments and make recommendations on workflow, applications, interfaces, reports and testing.
• Ensure go‑live readiness, provide post‑live support and conduct check‑ups to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Participate in architecture, design and functionality decisions to keep projects on budget, on schedule and aligned with customer expectations.

Required profile

• Engineer, Master or Bachelor degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Computer Science.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with SCADA/AEMS/ADMS, WAMS data modelling and direct client communication.
• Fluent in French and proficient in English.
• Proven involvement in all stages of SCADA projects, including FAT/SAT, site commissioning, testing, training and issue resolution.

Required skills

• SCADA, AEMS, ADMS, WAMS, CIM (formats 13‑16).
• Windows/Linux administration, SQL databases, GE/Alstom DBs, Oracle, MSSQL Server.
• Virtualisation (VMware, Citrix, Hyper‑V), network protocols (TCP/IP).
• Scripting (Perl, Bash, Python, PowerShell, VBScript) and programming (C, C++, C#, Java).
• IEC and other industrial protocols, Agile and DevOps practices.
