Supervisor - IT Products Development and Solution Design

About the role

MTN Benin is looking for a Supervisor for IT Products Development and Solution Design in its Information Systems function, based in Cotonou. The role leads end-to-end product and technology delivery across Business Units, from demand intake through production deployment, hypercare and operational handover, and acts as an expert Scrum Master and Agile coach.

Key responsibilities

• Orchestrate delivery across Business Units, consolidate plans, milestones, risks and dependencies, and run delivery governance and progress-review sessions
• Prepare weekly, management and executive-level delivery reports with early visibility of risks
• Coordinate third-party development and monitor vendor commitments, timelines, quality and recovery actions
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach Product Owners, and help maintain prioritized, refined backlogs
• Track and remove impediments and manage dependencies between teams, platforms, vendors and Business Units
• Oversee solution design and architecture reviews, including HLDs, LLDs, APIs, data flows and UML artifacts, aligned with enterprise architecture
• Coordinate testing (SIT, IAT, UAT), release planning, Go-Live readiness, hypercare and post-implementation reviews
• Monitor time-to-market, lead time, cycle time, backlog readiness, defects and release frequency, and use metrics to improve flow and predictability
• Facilitate collaboration among Product Owners, architects, developers, quality, infrastructure, security, operations, business stakeholders and vendors

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems, Technology Management or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in product delivery, Agile delivery, solution delivery, software engineering or solution architecture in a telecommunications or digital services environment
• Professional certifications such as PSM I/II, CSM, SAFe Scrum Master/Agilist, ITIL, PRINCE2, PMP or other architecture/cloud/DevOps certification
• Knowledge of IT service management (ITIL, eTOM, COBIT)
