About the role

The school is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Qualified School Nurse to provide health care support for students and staff in Cotonou. You will manage daily medical needs, respond to emergencies, keep health records, and promote overall wellbeing within the school community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑aid, emergency response, and routine medical care to students and staff.
• Maintain accurate student health records and ensure confidentiality.
• Collaborate with school leadership, teachers, parents, and external health providers.
• Implement hygiene and child‑health standards across the campus.
• Participate in safeguarding initiatives and health‑promotion activities.

Required profile

• Valid nursing certification/license with relevant professional documentation.
• Strong commitment to student safety, confidentiality, and wellbeing.
• Ability to work calmly in fast‑paced or emergency situations.
• Proficiency in French; English is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
