Senior Field Sales Representative – Cotonou

About the role

The G Store is seeking a Senior Field Sales Representative to lead the distribution of Sharp Calculators across the stationery market in Cotonou, Benin. This is a field‑based position focused on visiting retailers, institutions and corporate clients, building relationships and closing deals in person.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct 10–15 client visits daily, targeting retail stores, wholesalers, schools, banks and corporate offices.
• Identify, approach and onboard new retail partners, presenting product catalogs and pricing.
• Achieve assigned monthly sales targets, negotiate within approved discount ranges and ensure timely payment collection.
• Maintain a daily visit log and submit weekly sales reports summarising activities and revenue.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor pricing, promotions and emerging sales channels.
• Collaborate with the admin team for order processing and with the digital marketer to align field activities with online campaigns.

Required profile

• Must be based in Cotonou.
• Minimum 5 years of field sales experience in retail distribution, FMCG, electronics or related sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Own a smartphone with internet access for reporting.
