SEO/SEM Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a data‑driven SEO/SEM Specialist to lead both organic and paid search initiatives for our company. Working remotely, you will shape our search strategy, boost visibility, and optimise advertising spend to achieve growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ongoing keyword research, discovery, expansion, and optimization to drive organic traffic.
• Optimize website content, meta tags, landing pages, and site structure for SEO and better user experience.
• Conduct regular technical audits (site speed, crawlability, indexing, broken links) and coordinate with developers to implement fixes.
• Launch and optimise paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads) to maximise ROI and minimise cost per acquisition.
• Develop and execute link‑building strategies to increase domain authority.
• Track, report, and analyse website analytics (GA4), PPC initiatives, and SEO performance metrics to provide actionable insights.
• Research and analyse competitor advertising links, keyword strategies, and overall search presence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years proven experience as an SEO/SEM Specialist with a portfolio of successful campaigns.
• Strong understanding of current search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and AI‑driven search trends.
• Reliable internet connection with a backup supply to ensure zero downtime during work hours.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development constraints is a plus.
