Remote Video Game Composer (Full‑time/Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a visionary composer to create dynamic, immersive music that defines the sonic identity of our upcoming video game titles. Working remotely, you will craft thematic material that supports narrative, characters, and environments while adapting to real‑time player actions.

Key responsibilities

• Compose and produce original high‑quality scores ranging from ambient environments to intense combat and cinematic themes.
• Develop interactive music layers and stems that react to player choices and changing gameplay scenarios.
• Collaborate with narrative designers, producers, and sound designers to ensure music aligns with mood and pacing.
• Integrate musical assets into game engines and audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD) ensuring seamless loops and transitions.
• Iterate quickly on musical ideas based on feedback and playtesting.
• Maintain organized asset libraries, exporting and labeling files according to technical specifications.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience composing music for video games with a strong, diverse portfolio.
• Fully equipped home studio capable of delivering studio‑standard audio.
• Excellent communication skills for virtual collaboration and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Deep understanding of music theory, orchestration, and arrangement.
• Ability to work independently while receiving and applying creative direction.

Required skills

• Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton Live, or Pro Tools (DAW expertise).
• Wwise and FMOD (audio middleware).
• Unity and Unreal Engine (game engine integration).
• High‑quality virtual instrument libraries.
