Database Modelling Engineer

About the role

The Database Modelling Engineer will support post‑sales customer success by delivering SCADA/AEMS/ADMS solutions, ensuring go‑live readiness, and providing ongoing technical support. The role requires close collaboration with clients to understand their needs and tailor implementation strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the implementation of SCADA, AEMS and ADMS solutions across the project lifecycle.
• Own technical deliverables, including architecture decisions, design, testing, FAT/SAT, site commissioning, and customer training.
• Perform go‑live readiness checks, post‑live support, and issue resolution while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Engineer, Master or Bachelor degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Computer Science.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with energy or industrial technologies, including AEMS/ADMS and WAMS data modelling.
• Fluent in French and proficient in English, with proven client communication skills.

Required skills

• SCADA, AEMS, ADMS, WAMS, CIM (versions 13‑16) knowledge.
• SQL databases, GE/Alstom DBs, Oracle, MSSQL Server.
• Windows/Linux administration, virtualization (VMware, Citrix, Hyper‑V).
• Network protocols (TCP/IP) and scripting languages (Perl, Bash, Python, PowerShell, VBScript).
• Programming languages (C, C++, C#, Java) and IEC/industrial protocols.
• Agile and DevOps methodologies.
