Finance and Support Services Manager – Gulf of Guinea

About the role

Mines Advisory Group is seeking a Finance and Support Services Manager to lead essential support functions for its operations in the Gulf of Guinea. Based in Benin, you will oversee finance, HR, procurement, IT and administration for programmes in Benin, Côte d'Ivoire and Nigeria, ensuring safe and effective delivery of humanitarian activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership, including budgeting, cost control, cash‑flow management and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements, national legislation and MAG’s internal policies.
• Oversee procurement, logistics, asset management and IT systems, guaranteeing governance and alignment with operational needs.
• Coach and supervise national support service teams, fostering robust internal controls.
• Contribute to senior management decision‑making, annual business planning and risk management.
• Act as deputy to the Regional Programme Manager when required.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing finance and support services in an international humanitarian or development context.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams across several countries.
• Strong knowledge of donor compliance, public‑sector regulations and financial systems.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Gulf of Guinea region.
• Fluent English communication skills.
