IT Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an IT Software Engineer to join our forward‑thinking team that develops and maintains applications supporting mediation and billing processes across Telia’s markets. You will work in a collaborative, agile environment and help shape smarter living for customers and the planet.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain functional demands that support Telia’s billing processes.
• Develop and maintain mediation applications used across multiple Telia markets.
• Create tools and processes to ensure application lifecycle management and security compliance.
• Consult IT and Network stakeholders on best practices and technical solutions.
• Drive ART deliveries within an Agile SAFe framework.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise combined with collaboration and leadership abilities.
• Proven experience in the mediation domain and deep understanding of billing processes.
• Knowledge of system security, legal compliance, and telecommunications technologies (Fixed/2G/3G/4G/5G).
• Ability to work in Agile SAFe environments and lead change initiatives.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Programming in Python (advantageous).
• Experience with GDC (advantageous).
