About the role

Sightsavers is seeking an experienced Project Officer to lead Neglected Tropical Disease (NTD) initiatives in Benin, working closely with the Reaching the Last Mile Funds and other donors.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage partnerships with government officials, multilateral organisations and local NGOs.
  • Provide capacity‑building support, especially in Digital Health and GIS spatial analysis.
  • Develop and implement project strategies, plans and monitoring frameworks.
  • Analyse data and present results through visualisations for diverse audiences.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in partner management, government liaison and multilateral collaboration.
  • Proven ability to work independently in unstructured environments.
  • Experience in research project management and quantitative problem solving.

Required skills

  • GIS and spatial analysis.
  • Digital Health implementation and capacity building.
  • Data visualisation and presentation.
  • Strategy development, planning and project implementation.
