About the role

Stanbic IBTC is seeking a Business Banker to manage its existing portfolio of enterprise clients and to onboard new businesses across the nation. The role focuses on driving profitability through effective sales and relationship management within the financial sector.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing enterprise clients.
• Identify and acquire new business opportunities.
• Drive profitability by cross‑selling banking products and services.
• Oversee account opening and ongoing maintenance processes.
• Utilise product‑related systems to ensure accurate application and submission verification.

Required profile

• First degree in any discipline.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in sales and relationship management.
• Experience in the financial industry, particularly with small‑business clients.
• Proven ability to generate ideas, develop strategies and interpret data.
