Technical Project Coordinator – Bi-Lingual

About the role

Jaza is seeking a bilingual Technical Project Coordinator to lead the technical side of its 2026 expansion into up to ten new African markets. The role will oversee validation‑to‑scale operations, ensuring standards, safety, and performance are maintained while adapting solutions to local contexts.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute technical strategy across validation, pilot, and scale‑up phases.
• Coordinate with supply‑chain, tech operations, and vendors to secure equipment and develop detailed project plans (procurement, installation, commissioning, maintenance).
• Lead regional service engineers, manage deployment of tools, safety gear, and training, and monitor system uptime and performance.
• Create and maintain SOPs, track KPIs (uptime, reliability, time to resolution), and conduct technical audits before go‑live.
• Identify and qualify local vendors, assess equipment feasibility, and ensure compliance with import regulations and safety certifications.
• Prepare technical briefings, score pilot selections, and serve as escalation point for critical technical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electronics or a related field.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical or renewable‑energy systems.
• Proven ability to manage technical operations, equipment procurement, and cross‑functional teams in field environments.
